It’s important to strike a proper balance between these spectrum: few leaders addressing problems alone without input from others, and the other end of the spectrum where every problem is assigned to a formal committee for resolution.
Where issues requires leaders’ immediate individual attention, it only appropriate to act rather than delegating such. However, where problems affect more than one person or area of operation; want to solve a systemic problem cutting across many lines of authority. A team / representative from different areas coming together to analyse and resolve problem is ideal.
