Reward According to Their Abilities!

#SucceedingWithoutBleedingSeries #WorkplaceSurvival #EWDecision

Encourage your workforce/ team to fully utilise their best talents and abilities.

Don’t try to push or reward an employee by mere positional promotion: by that I mean, that an employee is a fantastic salesman with great top line performance doesn’t automatically translate to him being a great branch / regional manager. He just might be a wrong match managing a sales force simply because his core strength and ability is in driving top line and not in managing people/ management.

The morale of this is: While we seek to reward people, let’s reward them in such a manner that translates to sustainable growth in their life not reward that makes them appear incompetent. That will be a disservice to them.

Reward according to people’s abilities.

PS: ” turning down a management position = Not being offered any further raises or subsequent positions ”

Whose ideology was/ is this???

Would you rather have a person accept a position they can’t deliver on or decline to leverage within their core capabilities?

Mathew 5:37 Advisory puts it aptly when it advised :

” Just say ‘yes’ and ‘no.’ When you manipulate words to get your own way, you go wrong.”
