On the thought and question of how to handle an existing business partnership that was form without considering the compatibility and what to do.
I do not know the dimension of the existing business partnership you are in. But be it an existing partnership with a non – TIMELESS committed partners or not the answer is found here:
I Corinthians 7:10-15 Repository carefully states how to handle it:
“…For the rest of you who are in mixed marriages—Christian married to non-Christian—we have no explicit command from the Master. So this is what you must do. If you are a man with a wife who is not a believer but who still wants to live with you, hold on to her. If you are a woman with a husband who is not a believer but he wants to live with you, hold on to him. The unbelieving husband shares to an extent in the holiness of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is likewise touched by the holiness of her husband. Otherwise, your children would be left out; as it is, they also are included in the spiritual purposes of God.
On the other hand, if the unbelieving spouse walks out, you’ve got to let him or her go. You don’t have to hold on desperately. God has called us to make the best of it, as peacefully as we can. ”
This although focuses on marriage partnership. The exact principle applies.
So if the partner who is not committed to TIMELESS Principles is Who your partner(s) is and is not ready to exit the partnership then you got to let the partner stay; however, if such partner(s) wants to exit, as a TIMELESS committed one you’d allow them exit.
Right, the partner(s) in question is your father or mother. This will take a different approach. Why? Because principle governing a father /mother relationship says to honor them…
Checking in at Matthew 15:4 Bottomline Centre, explains it clearly
“For God commanded, Honor your father and your mother, and, He who curses or reviles or speaks evil of or abuses or treats improperly his father or mother, let him surely come to his end by death.”
So the wisdom in there is: DO NOT kick your father or mother out of your business!
They’d exit someday so why do such and end up not to be at peace with THE CHIEF STRATEGIST.
